STIIIZY donates 50 turkeys and volunteers a second year in a row at the Trina’s Kids Foundation annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.
STIIIZY volunteers and donates 50 turkeys to Trina’s Kids annual Thanksgiving Food Drive November 21, 2020 at Hubble Studio in Downtown Los Angeles — the second year our team has helped organize and distribute Thanksgiving necessities to low-income families in the community.
The turnout for the Trina’s Kids Foundation annual food drive surpassed expectations: having roughly over 250-300 families in attendance for the distribution of essential food items, useful amenities and a freshly prepared Thanksgiving feast.
STIIIZY donated 50 turkeys at this year’s event as well as had multiple members of the STIIIZY team volunteer their time passing out canned goods, turkeys and more.
One-hundred percent of all proceeds and donated goods have and always will be donated directly to the families in the surrounding Downtown Los Angeles communities who can benefit from the drive the most — having suffered financially by the current global pandemic.
As it stands, L.A. County public health officials announced on Sunday that they will suspend outdoor dining at restaurants amid a surge of coronavirus cases, stating that the five-day average of new cases had hit 4,097, hospitalizations at 1,473 (a 92% increase) the week
Prior to Thanksgiving. These new restrictions will be implemented for at least three weeks if not longer.
Founder Vince Ricci (owner of Hubble Studio) named the foundation after his mother with the mission to empower underprivileged youth and their families through charitable donations while also establishing youth developmental programs and group homes. During a time of uncertainty and hardship, Trina’s Kids foundation keeps pushing forward in providing the community with hope and a lifeline.
From all of us here at STIIIZY, we wish everyone a safe holiday season.
