STIIIZY at Buds & Bikinis Arizona 2026: Mesa Recap

Arizona brought the summer energy, and we were there for it.

On July 25, 2026, STIIIZY joined Trap Culture AZ for Buds & Bikinis at Golden Hills Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona. The 21+ pool party ran from 7 PM to 11 PM, bringing together music, local vendors, cannabis brands, and Arizona's adult cannabis community. 

For us, the event was an opportunity to connect with Arizona outside of a traditional retail setting and spend time with the creators, businesses, and people helping define the state's cannabis culture. That community-focused purpose was also central to the original event recap.

What Is Buds & Bikinis?

Buds & Bikinis is a 21+ summer pool party series produced by Trap Culture AZ in Mesa, Arizona.

Rather than functioning like a traditional trade show, the series combines cannabis culture with live music, poolside activities, food, local vendors, games, and brand activations.

The July 25 event was part of Trap Culture's fourth annual Buds & Bikinis series and was the second installment of its 2026 summer run. Trap Culture later closed the season with another Mesa event on August 29.

That format makes Buds & Bikinis different from an industry conference. The focus is less on meetings and buyer appointments and more on bringing Arizona's adult cannabis community together in a social, locally driven setting.

What Happened at Buds & Bikinis on July 25?

The July Buds & Bikinis took over Golden Hills Golf Club for four hours of poolside programming.

Ahead of the event, Trap Culture promoted a lineup of participating vendors, retail partners, food trucks, music, and on-site activations. The broader 2026 Buds & Bikinis format also featured DJ sets, pool access, games, giveaways, and local businesses.

It was an environment built around more than one part of cannabis culture. Music, fashion, creators, local businesses, and cannabis brands all shared the same space.

That crossover is exactly what made the event relevant to STIIIZY.

Why STIIIZY Joined Buds & Bikinis

Our goal at Buds & Bikinis was simple: connect directly with Arizona's adult cannabis community.

STIIIZY has long had connections to music, art, fashion, and cannabis culture, and Buds & Bikinis brought those worlds together in one place. The event allowed our team to interact with Arizona consumers, creators, industry members, vendors, and local businesses outside of a standard retail interaction.

Instead of simply putting our name on an event, we wanted to be there with the community.

Buds & Bikinis gave us a chance to meet people face to face, support an Arizona-based event organizer, connect with local businesses, and continue building relationships in a market with its own identity.

Supporting Arizona's Cannabis Community

Arizona cannabis has its own scene.

Its retailers, creators, events, music, and local businesses have developed independently, and being part of that market means understanding what already makes it distinct.

Arizona does not need to feel like California. The state has its own organizers, creators, retailers, and cannabis community.

Buds & Bikinis gave us the opportunity to participate in that community rather than trying to redefine it.

Trap Culture itself describes its events as locally focused gatherings built around community, live music, local vendors, and entertainment. The organization also makes an important distinction for attendees: cannabis is not sold or purchased at its events.

More Than a Traditional Cannabis Event

Cannabis events can take many different forms.

Some are built for retail buyers. Others focus on education, products, or industry networking.

Buds & Bikinis takes another approach.

The pool-party format puts the emphasis on social connection, entertainment, music, and the businesses surrounding Arizona cannabis culture.

That matters for a brand like STIIIZY because many of our connections with the cannabis community happen beyond a dispensary shelf. Events give us another opportunity to listen, interact, and understand what people across different markets are paying attention to.

At Buds & Bikinis, we were able to be part of the larger event rather than making the day entirely about STIIIZY.

Music was another natural connection.

The Buds & Bikinis series prominently features DJs and live entertainment, alongside vendors and poolside programming. Trap Culture's event materials emphasize music as one of the central components of the series.

For STIIIZY, music, fashion, art, and cannabis have consistently crossed paths.

Events like Buds & Bikinis give those connections a local context. Instead of talking about Arizona from somewhere else, we were able to show up in Mesa and meet the people who are already part of the state's scene.
