CELEBRATING FREEDOM IN SAN FRANCISCO
STIIIZY x SF BLACK WALL STREET
Although Juneteenth is the newest federally recognized holiday in the United States, it has long been celebrated since 1866 as the day commemorating the emancipation of enslaved Black Americans. On June 19th we celebrated Juneteenth with our community partners in San Francisco, SF Black Wall Street, by helping to sponsor their annual festival in Bayview Park. This Juneteenth was particularly special because it shared that Sunday with Father’s Day. If you’re looking to style Dad out this Father’s Day with everything he needs to grow cannabis from the comfort of home, check out this Father’s Day Guide for Growing Weed at Home.
Our STIIIZY Joint Efforts Volunteers were on-site to join in this important celebration of Black culture. Our team educated residents and other festival attendees about the brand and our dedication to the community, in addition to giving out some much appreciated swag items. Gilman Park was turned into an amazing marketplace dedicated to showcasing Black vendors. Children were treated to horse rides by the Oakland Black Cowboy Association, and a live performance by R&B group Silk closed out the show!
