In celebration of National Black Business Month, STIIIZY chose to support the following Black-owned businesses to help create care packages to gift our influencers with:
- ESO WON BOOKS | THE BLUEST EYE BY TONI MORRISON
Eso Won Books is an independent, Black-owned bookstore that caters to black readers and is located in Liemert Park, Los Angeles — a place often referred to as the cultural heart of black L.A. and often highlights black authors’ works for local angelinos to read and learn from (Julia Wick). The Bluest Eye is the first novel written by Toni Morrison that places Black girls at the center of the story, and being published fifty years ago, was one of the first storylines to do so.

- MCBRIDE SISTERS | BLACK GIRL MAGIC ROSé
The McBride Sisters Wine Collection is considered the first largest African-Americam sister duo to have founded and established a wine company, and they are also the largest African-American-owned wine company in the USA. Their collection of wines are true expressions of both the New Zealand and Central Coast of California’s terroirs while staying true to their signature style: a blend of old-world elegance and new-world finesse. They are continuously expanding and reaching new heights in the wine world.

Bring Something to the Party is a black-owned party/gift shop boutique located in DTLA that is a one stop shop for all of your party/gift needs. They carry a range of products from party supplies, small gifts, plants, and custom balloon props that make for the perfect, thoughtful gift for a loved one and/or friend — a great small business to support if you live in the LA County area.

- HENRY MASKS | FACE MASK
Henry Masks is a black-owned mask company founded by celebrity tailor Patrick Henry (aka Richfresh) and his brother Chase Morgan. The brothers wanted to step up and put their manufacturing to use to not only supply top notch protection travel-masks, but to also create and provide jobs in their local community. It is a company that consistently supports the black community by donating masks to the elderly in Compton as well as a mask to Healthcare workers and families in need for every mask sold.

There are more ways than one to show your support to the BLM movement now more than ever. From daily protests, to helping support Black-owned businesses (as well as other small-owned businesses) — many of which have suffered during the protests and pandemic in some cities — we as a community should continuously strive to utilize the resources provided to show our love and support.
