STIIIZY VOLUNTEERS AT TORRANCE TURKEY GIVEAWAY WITH SENATOR BRADFORD’S OFFICE
STIIIZY'S JOINT TEAM EFFORT GAVE 1,200 TURKEYS + MORE
Our STIIIZY Joint Efforts employee volunteer program has been making waves in our communities. After seeing the program in action during the Backpack Giveaway hosted by Special Needs Network CA State Senator Steve Bradford invited the STIIIZY Joint Effort volunteers to jo9in him at his annual Turkey Giveaway in Torrance, CA on November 22.
Senator Bradford started the Turkey Giveaway while he was still a member of the Garden City Council back in the late 1990's. This year, the Turkey Giveaway had over 20 sponsors and volunteer group that came together from all different parts of Los Angeles County.
STIIIZY was the only cannabis company to support the event and make a monetary donation as well as donated turkeys, with our STIIIZY Joint Effort volunteers present at the giveaway to help distribute.
All the volunteers that helped with this drive-thru event distributed over 1,200 turkeys, over 800 grocery boxes, and 100 Ralphs gift cards to local families in need.
The annual Turkey Giveaway is something Senator Bradford looks forward to every year stating, "It is my hope that these turkeys will not only feed our community, but act as the centerpiece of families gathering to give thanks for each other's support, faith, and love."
Senator Bradford left us with a final reminder when the Turkey Giveaway came to an end stating, " Thanksgiving is an opportunity to do something that we ought to do more often."
