New York's cannabis market has passed $1 billion in adult-use cannabis sales, and STIIIZY is bringing California cannabis products to the Empire State.
As of February 7, 2025, our products are now available at licensed dispensaries across NY. Born in Los Angeles, STIIIZY products are now available in New York’s licensed cannabis market.
Is Cannabis Legal in New York?
Yes. Cannabis is legal for adults 21 and over in New York. Since the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act (MRTA) passed in 2021, adults can possess up to 3 ounces of flower or 24 grams of concentrate. Legal retail sales began in December 2022, and STIIIZY joined the licensed market starting February 2025. All cannabis must be purchased from licensed dispensaries.
What's the Legal Age for Purchasing Cannabis in New York?
You must be 21 or older. Valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport) is required at the time of purchase. Dispensaries are required by law to verify your age at the door.
How Much Cannabis Can You Legally Possess?
Adults 21+ can legally possess:
- Up to 3 oz of cannabis flower
- Up to 24 g of cannabis concentrate
- Up to 5 lbs stored at home

Where Is Cannabis Permitted in New York?
